
Ethan Edward Hayter is a British racing cyclist who is a member of the UCI WorldTeam Ineos Grenadiers. Hayter competes for the United Kingdom and England in the Commonwealth Games. He was born on September 18, 1998.
Hayter began riding at Herne Hill Velodrome when he was 13 years old. From 2012 to 2016, he competed for the VC Londres cycling club, where he is still an honorary member. In 2016, he joined British Cycling’s Senior Academy squad, foregoing his A-level studies in the process.

What began as a hobby at the local velodrome quickly developed into a far larger commitment for both the Hayters and the Wrights.
Tim Hayter and Becca Wright were soon entrusted with transporting Ethan, Leo, and Fred to races and track meetings around the UK, as well as giving all the additional logistical, emotional, and educational assistance that a young rider needs.
“It’s a significant commitment,” Tim Hayter explains.
