Rancaño was a Cuban plastic artist. Rancaño was born in 1968 and graduated from the specialty of Painting and Drawing at the National School of Art in 1991.
The renowned plastic artist displayed his work in over a dozen countries and took part in over 50 group shows.
He developed his art in a variety of media and disciplines.
His vast body of work was displayed in prestigious collections and institutions in Cuba, America, and Europe, in addition to more than a dozen personal exhibitions in Cuba, Spain, the United States, Panama, Mexico, England, Colombia, and the Dominican Republic.
