Erling Haaland has returned to the UK after having a successful debut with Manchester City. The 22-year-old striker scored on Sunday morning in City’s 1-0 victory over Bayern Munich.
Haaland later took a flight back to Manchester before treating himself to a meal at the Dishoom Indian restaurant chain. The Norwegian was seen looking for a healthier alternative as he passed a burger restaurant.
The superstar kept his flowing locks hidden under an oversized black hoodie and a black cap. He didn’t appear to be trying to draw attention to himself as he wore a hoodie casually with tracksuit bottoms and white sneakers.
Haaland has had a busy week because he had to go through his City initiation before making his debut. The former Borussia Dortmund star sang Enrique Iglesias’ ‘Hero’, and reportedly had his new team-mates excited.
In his birthday speech, which he also had to deliver, he attempted to rally the troops in preparation for the upcoming season.
Throughout, Jack Grealish encouraged him and considering that they only recently met, the two have developed a close friendship.
