Erin Isabelle Burnett is an American news anchor.

She is currently the anchor of Erin Burnett OutFront on CNN.

Burnett studied at the Salisbury School before transferring to St. Andrew’s School where she graduated in 1994.

In 2009, she returned to the school to give the graduating address.

She studied political science and economics at Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political economy.

She previously worked for CNBC as co-anchor of Squawk on the Street and the host of Street Signs.

Burnett departed CNBC on May 6, 2011, after more than five years at the network, and began working for rival news source CNN on October 3, 2011.

There, she began hosting her prime-time news show, Erin Burnett OutFront, which is filmed in CNN’s New York City headquarters.

Burnett has over the years struggled with some diseases over the years.

She is currently doing well health-wise.
