Assistant coach David Ocloo of Asante Kotoko has commended Enoch Morrison for his performance in their recent match against Dreams FC, naming him as his Man of the Match. Despite the Porcupine Warriors suffering a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Dreams FC, Ocloo was impressed with Morrison’s display on the field.

Morrison, a former King Faisal player, was deployed as a midfielder in the game due to injuries to other key players in the squad. Ocloo explained, “Blay and other midfielders are injured so we are forced to compromise. Morrison is a known midfielder. At King Faisal, he was playing as a midfielder so we decided to call on him after falling short.”

The assistant coach went on to praise Morrison’s performance, stating, “I think Morrison didn’t play badly at all. To me, he was the man of the match in the game and I will encourage him to keep pushing.” Despite their efforts, Kotoko struggled to create significant goal-scoring opportunities during the match, managing only five attempts on goal and two shots on target.

Dreams FC took the lead with midfielder Sylvester Simba’s deflected effort after 25 minutes, followed by Derrick Agyei’s goal to secure the victory. As a result of the defeat, Asante Kotoko currently sits in 11th place on the Premier League standings with 33 points from 26 games. Despite the setback, Ocloo remains optimistic about the team’s future performances and the potential of players like Enoch Morrison.
