Emmanuel Adebayor spotted at Christian Atsu’s funeral

The funeral of Ghanaian football star, Christian Atsu, took place today, with his family, friends, and fans in attendance to pay their last respects. The ceremony was held in the forecourt of the Statehouse Accra.

The news of his sudden death shocked the footballing community, and tributes poured in from all over the world.

Among the football players that showed up at the funeral grounds was former Togolaise National Football Team Captain Emmanuel Adebayor.
The former player was spotted filing past the body of Christian Atsu Twasam as he paid his last respect.
During the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament. Atsu was a member of the Ghanaian national football team, while Adebayor played for the Togolese national football team. The two teams faced each other in the group stage of the tournament, with Ghana winning the match 4-2. Atsu scored one of the goals for Ghana in that match, while Adebayor scored both of Togo’s goals.
