Elon Musk, Tim Cook resolve dispute

For those keeping track at home, Elon Musk is no longer at odds with Apple.

On Wednesday, Musk announced that he had met with Apple CEO Tim Cook, putting an end to the apparent one-sided tensions that had flared earlier in the week, when Musk went on a tweeting rampage accusing Apple of threatening to remove Twitter from its App Store.

Musk followed up the baseless accusation with a meme implying he was ready to “go to war” over the issue, and he also claimed, incorrectly, that Apple had “mostly stopped” advertising on the social media platform, and he accused the company of censorship. The storm clouds were then dispelled by the power of diplomacy. “Thanks, @timcook for showing me around Apple’s beautiful HQ,” Musk said in a tweet that included a video of a pond on Apple’s Cupertino campus. “Excellent conversation.
