What is Elon Musk’s take on Amazon’s very expensive drama series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power? “Tolkien is rolling over in his grave.”

With a pair of quick tweets, Tesla CEO Elon Musk slammed the series. “Almost every male character thus far is a coward, a jerk, or both,” the second read. Only Galadriel is bold, intelligent, and kind.”

Musk has been in conflict with Amazon founder and Executive Chairman Jeff Bezos for years and routinely insults his firms on social media. He is presently stuck in a web trying to escape his proposed $44BN buy of social network Twitter. Several times throughout the years, Bezos has answered in like.

Both billionaires have invested heavily in their spaceflight companies – Musk owns SpaceX and Bezos established Blue Origin – and have frequently attacked one other’s activities. The pair has alternated as the world’s wealthiest person, but Musk presently holds the position with a net worth of over $254BN.

The trilogy takes place thousands of years before the events of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit and portrays a much younger Galadriel.

Regardless of Musk’s opinions, The Rings of Power has been a smash hit for Amazon Prime Video, with figures released earlier this week suggesting that the J.D.

Payne and Patrick McKay co-created drama drew more than 25 million viewers on its first day. This was the best performance ever for an Amazon original.

The first season’s eight episodes will be available till October 14.
