Silverstein was an American film and television director. He was born to his parents on August 3, 1927, in Boston, Massachusetts, United States, but sadly passed away on November 24, 2023, in Los Angeles, California, United States, at the age of 96.
He was active as a director from 1954 to 1994. He directed the Academy Award-winning western comedy Cat Ballou, and other films including The Happening, A Man Called Horse, Nightmare Honeymoon, and The Car.
