American actress Elizabeth Chase Olsen was born on February 16, 1989. Olsen started acting at the age of four and was born in Sherman Oaks, California. In 2011, she made her acting debut in the thriller Martha Marcy May Marlene, for which she received praise and was also nominated for a Critics’ Choice Movie Award.

Olsen became famous all over the world for her role as Scarlet Witch, Wanda Maximoff, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Avengers: Infinity War and Thor: Ragnarok. For her performance, she was nominated for a Critics’ Choice Television Award.

Her father, Dave, is a real estate agent, and her mother, Jarnie, is a former dancer. She is the younger sister of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, twin fashion designers who went on to become successful children’s and adult film and television actresses. Olsen also has a younger half-brother, an older half-sister, and an older brother. In 1996, her parents got divorced.
