Elgton Torrance Jenkins Jr., an American football lineman for the Green Bay Packers in the National Football League, was born on December 26, 1995. His college football career was spent at Mississippi State.
In the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft, Green Bay Packers selected Jenkins as the 44th overall choice. On May 13, 2019, he agreed to a four-year rookie contract worth $6.782 million.
Jenkins got his first NFL start on September 22, 2019, in a Week 3 matchup against the Denver Broncos, taking Lane Taylor’s place due to injury. Jenkins entered his rookie season as a backup. Jenkins did not permit a single sack this season on 571 pass-blocking snaps.
He was selected for the Pro Bowl as a starter for the first time in the 2020–21 season. In the 2021 season, Jenkins replaced an injured David Bakhtiari as the Packers’ starting left tackle. There, he made eight starts before suffering an ACL tear in Week 11.
