A news statement from the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) revealed a detailed plan that will direct the organization’s efforts in the run-up to the elections. The committee is chaired by Dr. Hassan Ayariga, the party’s founder and leader.
The capital of the Ashanti Region, Kumasi, would host the National Delegates Congress to choose the National Executives and the party’s presidential candidate, the NEC announced in a unanimous decision.
In addition, a colorful procession through Kumasi’s main streets is anticipated on March 9, 2024, involving APC members from all over the country. Leading religious and traditional figures as well as other Kumasi stakeholders will be paid courtesy calls throughout the parade.
It is recommended that prospective members of parliament pick up their forms from National Headquarters on March 1, 2024. The party’s designated bank account or mobile money account must receive all necessary fees.
As the party prepares for an important election season, Mordecai Thiombiano, the APC General Secretary, signed the press release and expressed confidence in the proposed plan.
