The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Wenchi Constituency of the Bono region has officially launched its campaign team for the upcoming 2024 elections.
The campaign team, headed by Kojo Frempong, the party’s parliamentary aspirant for Wenchi, was inaugurated with great enthusiasm in the blessing of Bawumia who was not present at the event.
During the inauguration ceremony, Ali Awudu, the Wenchi Constituency Chairman for the NPP, urged party members to put aside their differences and unite to secure victory in the upcoming elections. He emphasized the importance of breaking the eight-year cycle and reclaiming the Wenchi seat from the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
In his address, Abdul Razark Oppong, the Bono Regional Youth Organizer, called on NPP supporters to stand behind the party and work diligently towards winning back the Wenchi seat. He emphasized the need to break the eight-year tenure curse and ensure a successful outcome in the 2024 elections.
The Wenchi Municipal Chief Executive, Alexander Obour Damoah, highlighted the significant achievements of the NPP government in the municipality over the past seven years. He encouraged party communicators to showcase these accomplishments to the public as a way to secure victory in the upcoming elections.
Mr. Obour Damoah emphasized the importance of highlighting the government’s achievements as a crucial element in breaking the eight-year tenure jinx. He reiterated the need for effective communication and strategy to secure success in the 2024 elections.
