Ed Slater health: What disease does Ed Slater have?
Doctors have diagnosed the Gloucester Rugby player with Motor Neurone Disease.
The brain and nerves are impacted by the rare disorder known as motor neurone disease (MND).
Sadly, MND finally results in mortality and drastically reduces life expectancy.
Even though there is no known cure for MND, there are therapies that can lessen how it affects a person’s day-to-day activities.
Although it can affect adults of various ages, motor neurone disease primarily affects persons in their 60s and 70s.
This situation arises when the motor neurones in the brain cells quit functioning over time.
You may be more susceptible to developing motor neurone or frontotemporal dementia if you have a close family who has either of those conditions.
