“Economic prosperity through miracles, philosophy or rhetoric not achievable” – Dr Sam Ankrah says

Dr. Sam Ankrah, an independent running for president in the 2024 elections, has expressed his disapproval of the way the NPP and NDC are handling the economy.

Ankrah offers an alternate vision for an affordable Ghana that emphasizes realistic and workable solutions.

In his provocative remarks, Dr. Ankrah challenges the reasoning behind giving a government that has given up control of the country’s monetary and fiscal systems to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) another chance.

He draws attention to the fact that the NDC and NPP have both shown they are unable to run the nation’s economy, which has resulted in repeated requests for IMF help.

Dr. Ankrah emphasizes the necessity of moving toward a leader with his independence of thought and his ability to turn Ghana’s economy around.

He asks what the NDC and NPP want to provide the country and why they want another opportunity, casting doubt on their motivations.

He draws attention to the fact that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and John Mahama have both demonstrated their reliance on the IMF, casting doubt on their capacity to oversee the economy independently.

Dr Ankrah expresses shock at the fact that wise and astute people still support the NDC and NPP despite their past performance.

He wonders if Ghanaians have lost hope because they think that just a small number of people are smart enough to govern the country.

Alternatively, he speculates that the populace might just be unaware of the relevant resources required for efficient government.

Dr. Ankrah offers his Affordable Ghana contract (Manifesto), which focuses on 10 pillars to improve living conditions for Ghanaians, as a response to these worries.

Affordable housing, healthcare, education, food, fuel, transportation, a business-friendly atmosphere, a resolute campaign against corruption, sensible economic policies, long-term job development, and effective government apparatus are some of these foundations.

To create an affordable Ghana, Dr. Ankrah exhorts Ghanaians to adopt this alternate vision and work together.

He emphasizes that real and workable solutions rather than magic, philosophy, or rhetoric are necessary to bring about economic development.

Dr. Sam Ankrah’s support for an Affordable Ghana is a call to action for voters to think about a new direction in governance as the 2024 elections get near.

The people who live in this country will determine its destiny; they must carefully consider the situation and commit to the path of change.
