The recent power outage that affected the whole country has ended, according to the Electricity Company of Ghana.
Ghanaians asked ECG for a schedule so they could know when to turn off the lights so they could be careful with their electrical appliances in light of the current power loss.
Nonetheless, the ECG claims that the nation’s present power supply issues do not call for the establishment of a load-shedding schedule.
The popular “dumsor” has not returned, according to Laila Abubakar, the External Communications Manager at ECG, who also highlighted that other causes might be to blame for the recent power outages.
“The Electricity Company of Ghana wishes to inform our cherished customers and the general public that we have a stable national power supply (stable national grid).
“Any customer who is currently experiencing power outage is due to localised fault. Please call our call center on 0302 611 611 (also available on whatsapp) or report on our social media handles (ECGghOfficial) for immediate action to fix the power outage and restore the power supply.
“We are sorry for the inconvenience, and we wish you a happy easter.” This was the statement released by ECG on the recent power outage on March 29, 2024.
