Former Attorney-General Betty Mould-Iddrisu has called on the Electoral Commission (EC) to pay attention to the concerns raised by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in preparation for the upcoming elections.
She emphasized the need for the EC to be impartial and provide a level playing field for all political parties to voice their grievances.
During an interview on TV3’s Hot Issues with Kemmini Amanor, Madam Betty Mould-Iddrisu expressed her disappointment with the way the EC has handled the NDC, stating, “The Electoral Commission hasn’t treated us [NDC] fairly, they need to respect us as a party.”
She further urged the EC to respect the views of the NDC on electoral matters and to ensure fairness in their interactions with the party.
In terms of strategy for the upcoming elections, Mould-Iddrisu revealed that the NDC is focusing on the youth as a key demographic for securing victory.
Additionally, she mentioned that the party is directing its efforts towards the Ashanti region, emphasizing its significance in determining election outcomes.
