Duvall Young Hecht, born on April,23,1930, in Los Angeles, California, U.S was an American competition rower and Olympic champion.
During his time on earth, Hecht worked very hard and won himself a gold medal in the pair without coxswain at the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne.
He created the rowing team at the University of California after which he went on to coach the rowing team in UCLA before he began selling and Marketing “Books on Tape”.
Trying to enjoy his old age as a grown and established man, he pursued a career as a long-haul truck driver. Duvall died in his home on! the 0th of February, 2022.
