Duane Evans Jr., a 19-year-old actor from Aukland who was born on September 5, 2003, rose to prominence for his role as Michael Hampton-Rees in the television series “Shortland Street.”

Duane Antony Wiremu Wichman-Evans, also known as Duane Evans Jr. (19 years old), was born in Auckland, New Zealand, on September 5, 2003. His mother, Tutevera Wichman-Evans, is also a Maori with German, British, and Tahitian ancestry. His father, Duane Wichman-Evans, is Maori and of Welsh descent.

This young artist reportedly started acting lessons at age 3. He participated in school performances to hone his skills before joining a theater. At age 8, Peter Burger cast him as Young Billy in his movie “Billy,” giving him his big break. In the same year, he played the part of Tee in the short film “Ebony Society.”
