Dreams FC’s General Manager, Ameenu Shardow, has refuted claims that the club disclosed the stadium budget for their upcoming match against Zamalek.

The alleged budget of 36,000 Ghana cedis was supposedly made public on social media, prompting accusations from the Ashanti Region National Sports Authority (NSA) PRO against Dreams FC.

The highly anticipated second leg of the CAF Confederations Cup is scheduled to take place at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday, April 28, after a draw in the initial leg in Cairo.

Shardow vehemently denied the accusations during an interview with Peace FM. He clarified that the budget circulating online did not originate from any official Dreams FC sources.

He went on to emphasize the club’s longstanding partnership with the NSA, citing previous instances where they cooperated by playing at NSA-sanctioned venues when their home stadium in Dawu was unavailable.

In response to the NSA PRO’s allegations, Shardow expressed his disappointment and urged her to provide evidence to support her claims. He stated, “I take serious exception to the allegation coming from the NSA PRO.

If she can’t back up or substantiate what she is saying, it should be totally disregarded.”

Dreams FC remains focused on their upcoming match against Zamalek and is determined to deliver a strong performance on the pitch.
