There was an unfortunate incident at Drake’s $100 million home in Toronto, Canada as a security guard working on the premises was shot.

The Police were alerted to the scene of a drive-by shooting at Drake’s home on Tuesday, where they found a 48-year-old man who had been wounded and was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

Inspector Paul Krawczyk of the Toronto Police shared this information during a press conference, revealing that the security guard was shot while on duty outside the gate of the property. The guard is currently hospitalized and in serious condition as investigations continue.

Drake’s team is cooperating with authorities in their investigations, although it is unclear whether Drake was present at the property during the incident. The motive for the shooting has not yet been determined, and multiple suspects are believed to have fled the scene in a vehicle.

There has been speculation about whether the shooting was related to the ongoing feud between Drake and fellow rapper Kendrick Lamar. However, Krawczyk stated that no motive has been confirmed, and investigators are reviewing video footage of the incident to gather more information.

Drake, a five-time Grammy Award winner and one of the best-selling recording artists of all time, has been known for hits such as “Nice For What.” His recent lyrical battle with Kendrick Lamar has captured the attention of music fans worldwide, with both artists releasing songs that contain personal and professional jabs at each other.
