Famous Ghanaian actor and YouTube phenomenon Dr. Likee has strongly denied the social media rumors that his pupil Kyekyeku and he split up.
On 6th March, 2024, at SG Mall premiere of Kyekyeku’s debut film, “1957,” the actor corrected the record.
A few weeks ago, there were rumors that the two celebrities were having a falling out, which sparked a lot of conversation on social media.
Nevertheless, Dr. Likee used the occasion of the film’s premiere to refute the rumors and reassure the public and fans that his mentorship relationship with Kyekyeku is still intact.
Dr. Likee says there is no evidence of a breakup and that Kyekyeku is still a vital member of his creative team.
He made it clear that, in spite of reports to the contrary, Kyekyeku is aggressively pursuing education and skill development in the film industry.
In his response, Dr. Likee praised Kyekyeku’s maturity and noted that the actor now has greater freedom to direct his career.
He declared that he still has a great deal of interest in Kyekyeku’s development and success, adding that the two artists are still very much in support of one another.
Dr. Likee used the occasion to clear up any misunderstandings, stating that the reports of a tense relationship may have been influenced by his expanding group of protégés.
