The medical professional who posted on social media clarified that Dr. Grace Boadu might have been injecting herself with the medicine pethidine improperly, citing information from Maurice Ampaw.

Maurice Ampaw, the late Dr. Boadu’s pastor boyfriend’s attorney, disclosed in a recent interview that she would often overuse this specific injectable medication.

Ampaw said that Dr. Boadu had severe, incapacitating pain, and this injection was the only way she was able to get any respite. She even experienced a terrifying reaction after receiving the injection at Kotoka International Airport, almost losing consciousness.

A medical professional responded to these claims by speculating that it’s possible she became addicted to pethidine injections.

The health professional: “”Most medical practitioners abuse it …. I realized it after listening to Lawyer Ampaw’s interviews. My sure mind,”

When someone asked to explain what kind of drug it was, the person wrote: “It’s more like cocaine in its refined form … most health practitioners abuse it because of its work on the central nervous system.

“By making u drowsy, feeling happy and exited about everything little thing , and as pain killer but more so affect your system when u get addicted. Excessive use can cause tremors, muscles twitching and severe seizures. That can lead to death”
