Douglas Daniel Clark, an American serial killer and necrophile, lived from March 10, 1948, to October 11, 2023.
Although they are suspected in the killings of several additional women and young girls, Clark and his accomplice Carol Mary Bundy were known as the Sunset Strip Killers and were responsible for the murders of at least seven people. In Los Angeles, California, Clark was accused of six murders; he was found guilty in 1983.
Usually, young prostitutes or teenage runaways, Clark’s victims were beheaded and their severed heads were preserved as souvenirs. He would also engage in sexual activity with their corpses.

Clark was sent to the prestigious International School of Geneva and later Culver Military Academy. According to reports, Clark began to have terrible sexual fantasies of rape, murder, mutilation, and necrophilia as a teenager after secretly filming his sex encounters with girls at school.
Clark joined the U.S. Air Force in 1967 after graduating and was assigned to Colorado and Ohio. After receiving his release from the Air Force, Clark spent the following 10 years traveling and frequently working as a mechanic.
