Graduates of the Margret Marquart Catholic Nursing Training College in Kpando, Volta Region, have been asked to stay in Ghana and support the country’s growth by the college’s principal.

Speaking in an interview with Adom News at the school’s first graduation and fourth matriculation ceremonies in Kpando, Francisca Nana Arthur made this statement.

The institution enrolled 49 students when it opened on March 15, 2021, with 15 males and 34 females. As of right now, there are 330 students enrolled, with 252 females and 78 males.

She encouraged the first batch of graduates to remain in the nation and serve as health professionals for Mother Ghana as the college welcomed its second and third classes of students and graduated its first batch of students.

She emphasized that it is everyone’s responsibility to advance the country.

“Love your country and don’t be in a hurry to abandon it to go and develop another country,” Ms. Arthur added. “It will be unlawful for the government to spend on you as health practitioners and after graduation, you leave your country to another country.”

The principal emphasized the need of honesty and integrity and stressed its significance in the healthcare industry.

She exhorted the kids to act justly, abstain from prejudice, and show everyone dignity and respect.

During his speech, Fiakorme Bright Kweku, the top student overall, urged the kids to work hard and show courage in order to fulfill their goals and objectives in life.
