With more than a dozen accusations relating to his attempts to overturn Georgia’s 2020 election results, former president Donald Trump turned himself in on Thursday at the Fulton County jail in Georgia. Trump is being charged with a crime for the fourth time this year.

During the little more than 20 minutes that Trump spent in the Fulton County jail, he was processed and later released on bond.

His arrest documents listed his stats as being 6 feet 3 inches tall, 215 pounds, with blue eyes and blond or strawberry hair.  Trump has continued to run for president in 2024.download 6

Trump called his time in jail “terrible” while talking about his experience.

His booking number was provided as P01135809. This arrest comes after Trump’s surrender on state charges in New York in April, his surrender on federal charges related to classified documents in Miami in June, and his arrest in Washington, D.C., on charges brought by special counsel Jack Smith investigating attempts to overturn the 2020 election results.

He expressed surprise at being indicted multiple times within a short period.

In this case brought by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, Trump was released on a $200,000 bond, and he agreed to various conditions, including refraining from using social media to target co-defendants and witnesses.

Ahead of his surrender, Trump replaced his lead Georgia lawyer with Steven Sadow, an Atlanta-based attorney specializing in white-collar and high-profile defense cases.

The Fulton County District Attorney’s office requested an October 23 trial date for the election subversion case involving Trump and 18 others. This timeline, while ambitious, underscores the gravity of the charges.
