
Thérèse Anne Coffey is a British politician who is now the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions. Since 2010, she has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Suffolk Coastal.
She is a member of the Conservative Party. From 2016 to 2019, Coffey was a Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Department for Environment, Food, and Rural Affairs under Prime Minister Theresa May, before becoming a Minister of State at the same department under Prime Minister Boris Johnson from July to September 2019.
Coffey was appointed Secretary of State for Work and Pensions in September 2019 after Amber Rudd resigned from Johnson’s cabinet.
