Takeoff, an American rapper, was well known for being a member of the hit-making hip-hop group Migos before the group split up.
The rapper, whose real name was Kirshnik Khari Ball, was created on June 18, 1994, in Lawrenceville, Georgia, in the United States.
He started playing beats professionally in the eighth grade, and in 2011 he started his career.
The rapper was shot and killed in a bar while they were playing dice. Takeoff was shot in the head as a result of a fight that started when he was allegedly going about his business.

Takeoff occasionally appeared alone as a featured performer on songs by other musicians, most notably Calvin Harris on the song “Holiday” on the Scottish producer’s 2017 album Funk Wav Bounces, Vol. 1. Along with Takeoff, Jose Guapo, Chill Will, and other performers were also included.

In November of that year, Takeoff’s first full-length album, The Last Rocket, made its debut in the Top Four on both the R&B/hip-hop chart and the Billboard 200. In the years that followed, appearances on other singles were made, including featured roles on the 2020 singles “Too Blessed” and “All Time High” with Rich the Kid and YRN Lingo.

In 2022, he once more collaborated with Rich the Kid on the hazy track “Crypto,” and the same year, in October, he also worked with Quavo on Only Built for Infinity Links. Less than a month later, on November 1, he was shot and killed at the age of 28 in a bowling alley in Houston. The third album by Migos, the 24-track Culture II, was made available in January 2018.
