Sam Smith has spoken openly about their goal to one day establish a family, even if it means raising kids by themselves.
The singer, whose fourth studio album, Gloria, is scheduled for release in January 2023, stated that they have started to consider what the future may hold.
Smith spoke about moving to Scotland to lead a “more solitary” life during an appearance on The Zane Lowe Show. Smith and their Bernedoodle, Velma, currently reside in an old country home in Buckinghamshire.
The “Latch” singer said that starting a family was in their future plans when questioned about the possibilities of doing so.
Smith stated, “Once I’ve done all the traveling, I’d love to do that,” adding that ideally, they would have kids with someone they adore. They aren’t against looking into single-parent fertility options, though.
Smith remarked of having children with a spouse, “Oh, it’d be lovely. But I can also handle it by myself.
