David Madison Cawthorn is an American politician who has served in the 11th congressional district of North Carolina since 2021.
Cawthorn was born on August 1, 1995, in Asheville, North Carolina. Priscilla and Roger Cawthorn were his parents.
In Hendersonville, North Carolina, he was home-schooled through the 12th grade and played football with the Ashville Saints, a league of home-schooled high school students. As a teenager, he worked at a Chick-fil-A restaurant.
