Melissa Viviane Jefferson, known professionally as Lizzo, is an American singer, rapper, songwriter, and flutist.
She was born in Detroit, Michigan, on April 27, 1988 (age 33 years).
Though she was born in Detroit, she later moved to Houston, Texas, where she began performing before moving to Minneapolis, where she began her recording career in hip hop music.
She is known to be of the few musicians who have been subject to body shaming due to her thick body type.
Having said that, Lizzo is said to be one expensive music artist, her music was used for many movies and TV series, including A Bad Moms Christmas, I Feel Pretty, Grown-ish, Black-ish, and The Bold Type.
