There is no disputing that Donald Trump is well-known worldwide as the 45th President of the United States of America. Some love him, some despise him, and while there appear to be few in the center, many people are curious about who he is and what makes Donald Trump the way he is. There have been controversies among netizens regarding whether or not the US former president possesses a driver’s license and whether or not he can drive.
Does Donald Trump have a driver’s license?
There’s no doubt that Trump is no stranger to controversy. Controversy followed him about like a shadow long before he ran for and won the presidency through his political campaigns.
The incident with his driver’s license occurred in 2016. After examining a winery that Trump and his son Eric owned and maintained, POLITICO, a political news website, obtained a copy of the driving license from the Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverages Control via an open-records request.
POLITICO then provided a copy of the photograph, which revealed Trump’s height to be 6-foot-2, a height that media outlets grabbed almost once.
The fact that Trump previously identified himself as 6-foot-3, and even had a letter from his gastroenterologist that was posted on the Dr. Oz program that stated he was 6-foot-3, makes this so contentious. Trump’s Google profile indicated that he was 6-foot-3 at the time, but this has since been corrected to 6-foot-2.
There are plenty of those who would argue that it’s only an inch, but there are certain points to consider.
Does Donald Trump drive?
It’s generally known that when you become President, you don’t really drive yourself about for the duration of your presidency, but instead rely on chauffeurs and security to handle everything on your behalf. Having said that, Trump enjoys driving and has one of the most amazing car collections around.
