Armand Duplantis was born on November 10, 1999 (age 22 years), in Lafayette, Louisiana, United States. Armand Duplantis comes from a family of great athletes, his father, Greg Duplantis,  is a former pole vaulter. While his mother Helena (née Hedlund) is a former heptathlete and volleyball player. He has three other siblings, named, Johanna Duplantis, Antoine Duplantis, and Andreas Duplantis.
Armand Duplantis has his parents as coaches who keep him in training every day.
