Doc Hudspeth Redman is an American professional golfer who was born to his parents on December 27, 1997, in Raleigh, North Carolina, United States, hence he is 24 years old as of August 2022.
Even though he was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, he currently lives in Jacksonville – a city located on the Atlantic coast of Florida.
Doc attended Leesville Road High School where he was the North Carolina AAAA state champion as a senior and all-state four years in high school. After graduating high school, he enrolled at Clemson University where he studied actuarial math.
Redman won the 2017 U.S. Amateur, after finishing 62nd out of 64 in the stroke play qualifier. He was also runner-up at the 2017 Western Amateur, losing in a playoff. He turned professional golfer in 2018.
