The recent tensions came after Julia Apostoli, the mother of Tsitsipas, recently criticized Kyrgios’ Wimbledon strategies, calling them dirty tennis.
Like other times Kyrgios has made the decision to ignite the fire by releasing a tape of a point he played at Wimbledon versus Tsitsipas along with the description “Dirty tennis” on his Instagram account.
The pair had exchanged words earlier, however, when they competed as doubles partners at the Citi Open in the United States in 2019, it looked that their social media feud from the previous year had been resolved.
