The head of the New Force Movement, Nana Kwame Bediako, sometimes known as Cheddar, proposed to dig a sea in Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti Region. Songstress Efya Nokturnal has responded to this idea.
On March 19, 2024, she asked on her official X account whether Cheddar had received a particular request from the people before he made his idea public.
Her article asked, “Did the people in Kumasi say they want a beach?” The majority of the replies to her query were humorous.
One person commented, “Lowkey they want it, but they’re pretending,” and another tweeted, “Question for the gods.”
An extended response was given by someone else explaining why Cheddar had a valid point and wasn’t to be mocked: “And did Cheddar claim he is delivering the sea because of a beach.
“Man made some good points, using Dubai as an example, so even though we feel that what Cheddar said is impossible in our country, we shouldn’t make a mockery of it.” We have more than enough money to do it here,” he acquiesced.
