Saturday, 20th August 2016 saw the official launch of the much anticipated “Shatta TV series” at a conference held at the AnC mall. A number of the cast were present to grace the occasion including, “Toomuch” of the popular local series, Junka Town, Adjoa Smart, ‘Stryka’ of Netflix’s beast of no nation and Kontihene was the MC for the event.
The newest love birds, Medikal of AMG and Sister Deborah popularly known for her song “uncle Obama ” were among the personalities expected to grace the event however, they failed to turn up.
Shatta TV series is expected to start showing in two weeks. According to the director, the series is one full of comedy, very entertaining, educative and an appealing storyline. The 85,000gh budget series would be initiated with a pilot to receive the response from the target audience.
