DJ Cuppy, the Nigerian disc jockey Florence Otedola, recently shared the news of her maternal grandmother’s passing.
In a heartfelt message on her social media platform, DJ Cuppy expressed her grief over the death of Grandma Kaduna, who passed away at the age of 91.
Despite the sadness of the loss, DJ Cuppy finds solace in the belief that her grandmother is now in heaven, watching over her family. She took the time to reflect on the positive impact her grandmother had on her life, especially in the way she raised her mother.
In her message, DJ Cuppy wrote, “My mummy’s mother has passed away. I’m finding comfort knowing she’s in heaven, looking down on us with love. What a life she lived! I’m SO grateful for the way she shaped my mum, who then shaped me. I’m praying for my very own during this sudden season of change, but we already know that our God is good all the time. Grandma Kaduna, your spirit lives on, guiding and comforting us.”
The Otedola family is currently mourning the loss of their beloved matriarch, and fans have been offering their condolences during this difficult time. DJ Cuppy also shared a tweet honoring her grandmother with the caption “Rest in Peace Grandma Kaduna” along with a photo.
