Management of Disk Jockey, DJ Azonto, has called out Vice-President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for using his track, ‘Fa No Fom’, during his campaign in Nalerigu without permission.

The Rolls Royce Family, in a statement released on social media, accused the Vice-President of infringing on intellectual property rights.

According to the statement, DJ Azonto and his management are demanding $10 million in compensation from the Vice-President for the unauthorized use of the track. The statement emphasized the importance of respecting copyright laws and intellectual property rights.

The Rolls Royce Family expressed their willingness to collaborate with individuals who wish to use their artist’s work, as long as the proper legal channels are followed. They highlighted that a simple call to the artist’s management could have prevented the misuse of intellectual property.

The statement urged Vice-President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s campaign team to address the issue and take steps to avoid similar oversights in the future. They requested a fair and timely settlement to resolve the unauthorized use of DJ Azonto’s song while protecting and respecting intellectual property rights.
