Actress and entrepreneur Fella Makafui has recently found herself in the spotlight following reports suggesting her arrest over the alleged sale of unregistered products.

A press statement from ISPYGH 247, an investigative filmmaking firm, claimed to have collaborated with the Pharmacy Council of Ghana to uncover the sale of “unregistered drugs” by the actress. The statement further revealed that after closely monitoring Fella’s social media posts for six months, evidence of her alleged illegal activities was gathered, leading to her arrest.

However, Fella Makafui’s manager, Richmond Amofa Sarpong, swiftly denied the reports. In a statement on Facebook, he clarified that the actress was merely invited by the police, which she duly honored. After providing all necessary information to assist in the investigation into the alleged sale of unregistered products, Fella promptly left the police premises.

Mr. Amofa Sarpong emphasized that Fella Makafui presented her license obtained from the Ghana Traditional Medicine Practice, along with details of registered products from the Food and Drugs Authority, to the police. This move was aimed at dispelling any doubts surrounding the legality of her business operations.

Despite the initial controversy, it seems that Fella Makafui is intent on setting the record straight and continuing her work in the entertainment industry. With her manager’s staunch defense and commitment to transparency, it appears that the actress is prepared to overcome any challenges that come her way.
