Evangelist Mama Pat, also known as Nana Agradaa, has expressed reservations about how the current New Patriotic Party [NPP] administration handled her matter with the Ghana Police Service some time ago.

She stated that she was detained by police and handcuffed for a lengthy amount of time. The justifications stated by the police did not make sense to her, thus she perceived the treatment as unjust.

She asked why President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his vice, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, did not intercede to liberate her.

Speaking in a TikTok live session watched by GhanaWeb, Agradaa stated that she will completely participate in the 2024 elections and make her preferred political party known to the people.

“This year’s election will touch everyone. You must understand your rights so that if you find yourself in difficulty, you will know how to get out. This time, we will not remain impartial; instead, we will express our preference.

“How the NPP government treated me a while ago…” I was shackled for 42 days, as a young person just beginning out in life. Didn’t Akufo-Addo see the way I was treated? Will Bawumia also claim he was unaware of it? She questioned.

Regarding Agradaa’s detention by the police

The Ghana Police Service apprehended Nana Agradaa, a remorseful fetish priestess.

This was stated in a statement issued by the Service on its social media channels in October, 2022.
