On November 4, 1969, Sean Love Combs, an American rapper, record producer, record executive, and actor, was born. He has performed under the guises of Puff Daddy, Puffy, P. Diddy, and Diddy. Combs, a Harlem native, worked as the talent director at Uptown Records before starting his own record company, Bad Boy Records, in 1993.

The Notorious B.I.G., Mary J. Blige, and Usher are a few of the musicians Combs has nurtured and cultivated. In 1987, Combs received his diploma from Mount Saint Michael Academy. He participated in football for the academy, and in 1986, his squad won the division championship. People used to refer to Combs as “Puff” when he was younger, according to Combs, because of the way he would “huff and puff” when he was enraged.

The 1997 album No Way Out, Combs’ debut, has received a seven-time platinum certification. The albums Forever (1999), The Saga Continues… (2001), and Press Play (2006) came after the album. In 2009, Combs formed the band Diddy – Dirty Money with vocalists Kalenna Harper and Dawn Richard, and the three issued their joint album Last Train to Paris. The Love Album: Off the Grid, Combs’ fifth studio album, was released in September 2023.
