Sofia Daccarett Char, professionally known as Sofia Carson, is an American actress and singer who was born on April 10, 1993 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, U.S..
As a guest star on the Disney Channel sitcom Austin & Ally, she made her debut on television.
She gained fame in 2015 for her performance as Evie, the Evil Queen’s daughter, in the Disney musical fantasy film Descendants. She later returned to the role in the film’s follow-ups.
Since then, she has acted in the love drama Purple Hearts on Netflix (2022).

Boyce sadly passed away in the early days of July 2019 from an epileptic attack.
Carson sent the following Instagram tribute to her cherished co-star a week after his passing:
“I couldn’t bring myself to do this because doing this makes it real. Letting you go is not something I know how to do. And I just can’t fathom living in a world without you. I love you, Cam. And I will love you. Forever.”
