Samuel Frederick Smith is a singer and composer from England. After first gained attention in October 2012 when she appeared on Disclosure’s breakout track “Latch,” which peaked at number eleven on the UK Singles Chart.

Smith’s debut studio album, In the Lonely Hour, was released on Capitol Records UK in May 2014. Prior to “La La La,” the album’s lead single, “Lay Me Down,” was released.
