Did S Club 7 make money?

The music band didn’t really make enough money.

They published four studio albums, and eleven singles, and sold more than fourteen million albums worldwide. S Club, their first album, featured a strong 1990s pop vibe, comparable to many other musicians of the time. Despite selling more than 10 million records worldwide in the 1990s, the band members reportedly earned only £150,000 per year.

Throughout their tenure, though, their musical approach shifted to a more dance and R&B feel. Simon Fuller, the group’s manager through 19 Entertainment, established the concept and brand; they were signed to Polydor Records.

Their television series lasted four seasons, with the group traveling around the United States until arriving in Barcelona, Spain. It became popular in over 100 countries, with over 90 million spectators tuning in.
