Durk Derrick Banks, an American rapper, singer, and composer born on October 19, 1992, goes by the stage name Lil Durk. He recalled that there were instances when there wasn’t enough food at home when he was younger.
On social media platforms like Myspace and YouTube, he received his first significant break, and as his online fan base increased, he grew fond of the idea of being a rapper. Banks started to take his work more seriously after having a child at the age of 17 and dropping out of Paul Robeson High School to join the Black Disciples, a street gang in Chicago.
Soon after joining, he began experiencing legal problems, and in October 2011, he received a term for crimes involving weapons such as owning a gun with a changed serial number.
