He appeared in Sam Peckinpah’s films Ride the High Country, Major Dundee, The Wild Bunch, The Ballad of Cable Hogue, and Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid. He also appeared in films including Casino, The Patriot, The Mask of Zorro doing doubles with Antonio Banderas, and A Prairie Home Companion.
He was born on August 19, 1927. L.Q also called Justice Ellis died on July 9, 2022, of an alleged suicide. Jones was one of the longest-serving actors in the Hollywood filming industry, appearing in more than 50 feature lengths including theatre, and a number of television interviews.
