Eric Weinberg is a television producer and screenwriter best known for his work on the sitcom Scrubs. Weinberg has been a Scrubs co-executive producer since 2002, and he has also served as a supervising producer and writer on an additional twenty episodes since the show’s beginning in 2001.
He also wrote and executive produced the 2005 made-for-TV film Confessions of a Dog, and he produced and wrote episodes for the television series Veronica’s Closet.
His other writing credits include Party Girl, Politically Incorrect, and Too Something. He has received five Emmy nominations, two for the Scrubs team and three for Politically Incorrect, which was also nominated for a WGA Award.
Weinberg was arrested on various allegations of sexual assault between 2012 and 2019 by the Los Angeles Police Department on July 14, 2022. He is being jailed on $3.225 million bail.
