Edward Christopher Sheeran, an English musician, was born on February 17, 1991. At age eleven, he first began to compose music. Ed Sheeran grew up in Framingham, Suffolk, after being born in Halifax, West Yorkshire.

Sheeran began composing music in 2004 and self-released his debut record, Spinning Man, when he was just thirteen years old. He has known English singer Passenger since they were both 15 years old, and the two of them performed together in Cambridge. He moved to London in 2008 and began giving small-scale performances there. In 2008, he auditioned for the ITV program Britannia High.

In the first several months of 2011, Ed Sheeran released his extended play No. 5 Collaborations Project on his own. He joined Asylum Records the next year.

Sheeran’s fan base expanded through YouTube, and he began to be viewed by more people online. Elton John and The Independent newspaper both praised him. He did a Station Session at St. Pancras International in June 2010. They have a portion of the episode on their Facebook page. Sheeran independently released two more EPs in 2010.

Sheeran made the official announcement that his fifth studio album, “Subtract,” would be released on May 5, 2023, on 1 March 2023 across all social media networks. The album’s lead single, “Eyes Closed,” by Sheeran, was made available on March 24, 2023, along with a music video.
