The American politician Dianne Goldman Berman Feinstein was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Laws from Golden Gate University in San Francisco on June 4, 1977. She was awarded the Legion of Honour by France in 1984.
Feinstein received the Woodrow Wilson Award for Public Service from the Woodrow Wilson Center of the Smithsonian Institution on November 3, 2001, in Los Angeles. In 2002, Feinstein won the American Medical Association’s Nathan Davis Award for “The Betterment of Public Health”. She was named as one of The Forward 50 in 2015.
